January

Our January has been pretty uneventful.  We're just staying inside trying to keep warm!  Here are some random pictures from the month.

  The other day the kids were being really quiet, so I thought I better check on them and they were in Mason's room reading a book.  Sometimes they can be so sweet!

 I'm ready for some warmer weather and evidently the kids are, too.  On one of our snow days they went by me with bags and told me they were going to the beach.  Here's their little set up.

 Mason got to go to the rec center on Mondays for some tiny tot basketball.  He was really nervous at first, but really ended up loving it!

 Daddy's b-day!  The kids picked out a super bowl cake for him.  They know he loves his football.  Brynley had to give dad's fantasy football trophy a hoist in the picture!

Christmas Vacation

We had a great Christmas vacation!  We got to spend a lot of time with our family and the kids were completely spoiled!  We started xmas off at our house and let the kids open their presents from us.

 We went to Centerville on xmas eve.  Here we are ready for xmas eve service at church.

 Santa found the kids on xmas morning.  They were so excited to start opening!

 On Christmas day we went to Grandma Jane and Grandpa Doran's house for our xmas with them.

 On the 26th Uncle Nate came to visit.  The kids love playing with him!  We missed Kelly, but we're excited to get to see her this summer.

 Our next xmas was with grandma and grandpa and the Webbs.  The cousins had a great time playing together!

Brynley is 8!

I can't believe Brynley is 8 years old already!  She loves having breakfast in bed on her birthday!

 On Friday evening we had a quick pj party with friends.  Bryn had a great time!

Decorating for Christmas

We started decorating for Christmas on Thanksgiving weekend.  The kids love putting their trees in their rooms.  Here's Mason with his Hawkeye/sports tree!

 Brynley decorated her tree completely on her own this year.  She did a great job!

 I'm not sure how much longer Bryn will be putting the star on this tree, Jeff was straining a little this year :)

Halloween party and trick-or-treating!

This is a little late, but I just got around to downloading my pictures off the camera.  We had our annual Halloween party with the daycare kids.  We had spider oreo cookies.

Brynley's Music Concert

Brynley had her second grade music concert last night.  She did a great job!

 This was Bryn's favorite song.  They hid a locket and sang louder with the person who was finding it got closer to it.

 They also had a song where they danced with a partner.  So funny to watch, Brynley said it was very embarrassing!  You can tell by her face she wasn't too excited about it!
